The Virginia Angus Association, organized in 1933, has as its objective the promotion of the merits of the Angus breed of cattle as well as the education of breeders in the qualities and care of such animals. These objectives are accomplished through Association schools and forums, meetings, publications, shows and sales. The Association performs such other acts incidental and supplementary thereto as will, in the judgment of the Association, best promote the interest of the Angus breed of cattle in Virginia.
